Chain covered booties

So what is the most popular accessory going to be this fall? Chain covered booties...

These are from Abaeté’s Laura Poretzky made for payless fall line. They're chic, glamorous, and best of all not insanely expensive.

Ruffle it up

So am I the only one who's noticed that this season is all about volume, and ruffles? Fall 2009 is going to be extremely versatile. Easily translating from day to night. Ruffles are great for a casual morning, but easily work for a night on the town.

The best colors for ruffles are metallic, which will also be hot this season, along with reds, and pinks.

Bag of the week-7/12/09

This weeks Bag of the Week is the Betsey Johnson Tie Breaker Flap tote ($295.00). It has a very simple yet beautiful design and will match almost any outfit. The only con about this bag are the too short straps. It also comes in Pink and Black, and is great for traveling.

Key Please

So I was looking at the Tiffany site today because I love their charm bracelets. I haven't been on in a while so I didn't see the new key collection. I adore the key collection because it's so different from what they've done in the past.

The 4 different categories of keys are Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Diamond. The prices range from $100-$15,000.
This is my favorite key and shockingly is only $100. I love the simple yet elegant silver, and classy Robin egg blue.

Summer Style

This week I've been super busy but I took a little bit of time to catch up on the latest trends.

Apparently white jeans are out and the new fade to white jeans are in. These are from the Stella McCartney fall line.

How cute are these short sleeved cardigans? They can be used over a casual dress or outfit like this, and they'll keep you warm on a cool summer night.

This Juicy Couture Terry Wide Scoop Neck Dress can be used as a simple summer dress, thrown over a bikini, or even worn with the cute short sleeve cardigans above.

Although the scoop neck dress and cardigan are geared more for summer, I love the jeans as a great new fall trend. The number one thing to remember when wearing light wash jeans is NO BRIGHT COLORS! Pair them with a neutral tunic, and a blazer. Make sure the jeans are the most noticeable piece, and make sure to wear a shoe with a heel, like a peep toe or pumps.Whatever you match it with remember to keep it neutral!

Ready-To-Wear

I've been thinking of starting a fashion blog for a while. I told a few people about my idea and they agreed that I should do it. Fashionably pink is a blog that talks about all things fashion. Feel free to comment on what you think!

Recently I've been looking at all the Fall 2009 runway pictures and I have to say I love so many of them, but here are a few of my favorites...

This is a Malandrino ensemble from the Fall 2009 Ready-To-Wear collection. I absolutely love the boots (although I would never be able to wear them anywhere) and the jacket. The all Black color scheme gives a slightly more gothic feel to the outfit.

I have to say, that I'm not crazy about the boots, or the hat, but the royal blue trench dress looks stunning paired with the black tights, and scarf. This is from Charles Anastase Fall 2009 Ready-To-Wear collection.

Once again I'm not in love with the boots, but this outfit is possibly my favorite. It reminds of rocker chic with just a hint of gothic. This is from the Anna Sui Fall 2009 Ready-To-Wear collection.

This is from the Chanel 2009 Ready-To-Wear collection. The off-white cashmere sweater dress and matching capelet look perfect with subtle pink accessories.

I love this elegant yet chic Carolina Herrera one shoulder gown from the Fall 2009 Ready-To-Wear collection. The black and the metallic silver complement each other well.

Like I said these are only a FEW of my favorites. I hope you enjoy Fashionably Pink and remember, I would love to hear any suggestions you have!
